Xiaomi Redmi 5A to go on sale today through Flipkart, Mi.com
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi recently launched 'Desh Ka Smartphone' Redmi 5A in India. It is the cheapest smartphone of the company till date. Successor to the earlier launched Redmi 4A , the smartphone comes in two variants -- 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. Both the variants are exclusively available on Flipkart and Mi.com. The 2GB RAM version is priced at Rs 5,999, while the 3GB RAM variant costs Rs 6,999. The smartphone will go on sale today (December 21) on Flipkart at 12PM. As part of the introductory offer the company will be selling first five million units at a discount of Rs 1,000. This means that the users can purchase the 2GB RAM version at Rs 4,999. The customers can also purchase the device on EMI at Rs 340 per month. The e-tailer is also giving 5% discount to Axis bank buzz credit card holders. Along with this, if you are a Reliance Jio customer then you can get the smartphone at an effective price tag of Rs 3,999.
